Chattanooga Locomotion Announces Tryouts

Chattanooga Locomotion News Release


The Chattanooga Locomotion, one of 30 teams playing in the National Women's Football League for the 2003 season, has announced their 2003 tryouts.

The Chattanooga Locomotion are entering their third season with the NWFL. The Locomotion will be playing against the Nashville Dream, Knoxville Summit, Asheville Assault, Alabama Renegades and Atlanta Leopards. Their regular season home games will be played at Central High School on Hwy 58.

The Chattanooga Locomotion tryouts will be held Oct 26th. Registration starts at 9:00 and tryouts start promptly at 10:00 AM. The Field is located between Central High School and Brown Middle School on Hwy 58. Due to the high demand for younger girls wishing to play we are accepting girls ages 16 and 17 for a practice squad and 18 and up for players. Anyone under 18 must have a parent or guardian at the tryout.

The National Women's Football League is the world's largest full contact football league with 30 teams. The league website, www.nwflcentral.com gets over 2 million hits per month. The league has also made history with the signing of a five year TV right deal with the Football Network.
