
Charlotte Sting's Andrea Stinson To Spread Holiday Cheer Through 'A Very Stinson Christmas'

For the fourth year, the Charlotte Sting's Andrea Stinson will make a holiday visit to the home of one lucky fan this holiday season. As part of "A Very Stinson Christmas," Stinson will spread holiday cheer by reading the holiday classic "Twas the Night Before Christmas" by Clement C. Moore to one lucky family.
To enter the contest, fans simply need to write in 100 words or less why their family should be chosen for this special appearance. Entries must be submitted via the Sting's website at www.charlottesting.com by 5 p.m. on Thursday, December 16. The winner will be chosen and contacted by the Sting front office staff on Friday, December 17 and Stinson will make her holiday visit on the evening of Thursday, December 23. The contest is open to residents of North and South Carolina 13 years of age and older.
A three-time WNBA All-Star, Stinson has played in every game in Sting franchise history and has scored over 3,000 points in her eight year career. A native of Cornelius, NC, Stinson has also been recognized for her outstanding work in the community, having received the WNBA's Community Assist Award three times in her career.
