
Charlotte Sting Waive Tera Bjorklund

The Charlotte Sting waived Tera Bjorklund, it was announced today by General Manager and Head Coach Trudi Lacey.
Bjorklund, a 6-4 center, appeared in four games for Charlotte last season after signing as a free agent on July 6, 2004. She grabbed one rebound in three minutes of preseason action against Connecticut, her only appearance for the Sting in 2005.
A 2004 graduate of the University of Colorado, Bjorklund averaged 14.6 points and 5.2 rebounds in 127 games for the Buffaloes.
The Sting will open their ninth season on May 21 at the Charlotte Coliseum as they host Washington at 6 p.m. Season tickets are available now by calling (704) 424-WNBA. Fans can also download a schedule and further ticket information at www.charlottesting.com
