Charlotte Sting to Host Fandemonium at Season Finale

As a way to say thank you to their fans, the Charlotte Sting will host Fandemonium at the season finale on Saturday, August 27, at 6:00 p.m. against the Connecticut Sun at the Charlotte Coliseum.
Fandemonium will feature a special appearance by SpongeBob SquarePants, a halftime performance by the Quiddlers and prize giveaways throughout the game. Prizes include passes to Carowinds, a $100 Harris Teeter gift card, computer printers from Staples, Sting prize packs, womens watches and round trip passage on Amtrak.
In addition, the first 2,500 fans in attendance will receive WNBA basketballs and select fans will receive an autographed game jersey or shoes from a Sting player.
A Fan Fest with free games and activities will be held on the concourse prior to the game. Fans can also participate in Bell South Recycle Night by exchanging old phone books to be recycled for a new phone book and a special gift.
The game marks the end of the Stings run at the Charlotte Coliseum, which the team has called home since 1997. The Sting will celebrate their 10th Anniversary in 2006 and play home games at the Charlotte Bobcats Arena, slated to open this fall.
