
Charlotte Sting single-game tickets on sale Saturday, April 16

The Charlotte Sting announced today that single-game tickets for the team's ninth season will go on sale on Saturday, April 16, beginning at 10 a.m. All tickets are located in the lower bowl and begin as low as $10.
Single-game tickets will be available at the Charlotte Coliseum Advance Ticket Office, all Ticketmaster outlets, online at www.charlottesting.com or by calling 1-877-WNBA-TIX. Season tickets, Flex Plans, Weekend Plans and group tickets can be purchased by calling (704) 424-WNBA.
Newcomers Tangela Smith, Sheri Sam and Helen Darling will join the #1 pick in making their Charlotte Sting debut as the team hosts the Washington Mystics in the season opener on Saturday, May 21. Tipoff is slated for 6 p.m. at the Charlotte Coliseum.
Charlotte's 17-game home schedule also features contests against Diana Taurasi and the Phoenix Mercury on May 26 as well as Lisa Leslie and the Los Angeles Sparks on May 28. The WNBA champion Seattle Storm, led by Sue Bird and Lauren Jackson, make their only appearance in Charlotte on June 12. The Eastern Conference Champion Connecticut Sun will make two appearances in the Queen City, on July 19 and in the regular season finale on August 27.
The Sting will also play two preseason games at the Bobcats Basketball Center in Fort Mill, South Carolina, as they host the Los Angeles Sparks on Thursday, May 12, at 6 p.m. and the Houston Comets on Monday, May 16, at 7 p.m. The 2005 Charlotte Sting regular season home schedule follows:
