Charlotte Speed to Hold Dance Auditions

Charlotte, NC, October 16, 2012--- On Saturday, November 10, 2012, The Charlotte Speed will have its annual dance auditions for the Velocity Dance team.

The Speed are looking to cast physically fit, unique and outgoing professional dancers with outstanding performance quality as well as an upstanding professional demeanor. Previous cheerleading and/or dance experience is preferred.

All candidates must be a minimum of 18 years of age by January 2013, have reliable transportation, and be able to commit to an annual contract, appear at scheduled Speed events, and attend all rehearsals and games.

The Speed will hold two Velocity Dancer audition clinics before the actual tryout date. During these clinics dancers will be introduced to the expectations of the tryout process, what to wear to the audition and how to apply makeup and hair for the audition. Clinics are $20 each, cash only. Clinic dates, times and location are listed below and Velocity Audition's will be held on Saturday November 10, 2012 with time and location to be determined.
