Charlotte Major League Lacrosse Adds to Executive Team

Charlotte, N.C. (March 2, 2011) - Charlotte Major League Lacrosse has announced the addition of Wade Leaphart to the executive team. He joins Jim McPhilliamy and the Charlotte based franchise as Director of Sales & Marketing.
Leaphart spent the last year and a half with Revolution Racing and The 909 Group, working with the NASCAR Drive for Diversity program. The University of South Carolina grad and Game Face alum has held various sales and marketing positions, including two seasons as Director of Sales with the ECHL's Fresno Falcons and a four year run as Senior Account Executive with Bobcats Sports and Entertainment in Charlotte.
"Wade was one of my top sales guys at the Bobcats and I'm thrilled to have the opportunity to work with him again" said Jim McPhilliamy, Team President. "He has a great work ethic and understands the importance of every customer."
As Director of Sales & Marketing, Leaphart will oversee the team's revenue and outreach programs. Among other projects, he will focus on securing new team sponsors, corporate partners and lead the ticket sales effort.
