Charlotte Independence News Release
CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The Charlotte Independence announced today their "Adopt A Kid's Group" Program through which each player has the opportunity to adopt up to 40 kids for a night of soccer at the new American Legion Memorial Stadium. The initiative will serve local schools, neighborhoods and organizations facing economic hardship and those who otherwise may not be able to attend games throughout the season.
"The Adopt a Kids Group program is something the community needs," stated Charlotte Independence defender, Hugh Roberts. "Bringing awareness to the game and being able to help those in need is impactful. I hope this spreads throughout multiple cities, and I commend the Independence for taking the lead."

Another strategy the professional USL team has implemented is a modest ticket pricing model that features various price points and seating options to fit every budget.
