The Charlotte Eagles will look to grow their win streak to six games Saturday night, July 21, 2012, as they take on the Wilmington Hammerheads at Charlotte Christian Stadium at 7:00 PM.
With a three way tie for sixth place in the USL PRO and three point separating five teams, every win is vitally important to life in the post season.
The Eagles are currently one of the teams tied for sixth place sitting above LA and Richmond due to goal differential.
The Eagles have hit their stride at just the right time in the season. The team as a whole is creating results, with 10 different players scoring the last 12 goals.
Saturday is the first of a must win situation as Wilmington sits just three points ahead of Charlotte.
These two clubs met in Wilmington for the first time this season, on May 19th, with a 1-1 draw at Legion Stadium.
Wilmington is coming off a difficult 3-1 road lose to the Charleston Battery, and will host Dayton before traveling to Charlotte.
The Eagles are proud to host, Monroe NC's own Karla Davis Saturday night at the game. Karla has been featured on NBC's "the Voice" and has made a name for herself in Nashville.
