
Charleston Battery Teams up with Special Olympics for Bocce Bash

Charleston, SC. For the 14th consecutive year Charleston Battery teamed up with Special Olympics South Carolina last weekend to host the 'Bocce Bash' at Blackbaud Stadium, Daniel Island. A total of 512 participants from 128 teams took part in the event on the stadium field and raised over $70,000.
Charleston Battery midfielders Michael Kafari and Dante Marini were among the participants that competed in the knockout tournament. The overall winners were from Ted's Butcherblock.
