Charleston Battery, Color World Painting Announce Multi-Year Partnership

CHARLESTON, S.C. - The Charleston Battery and Color World Painting are thrilled to announce a new multi-year partnership between the organizations on Thursday. Color World, a nationwide company leading in home improvement and painting services, will feature as the Battery's official front-of-kit sponsor for the team's training jerseys.

"This is going to be an awesome partnership, Color World Painting's commitment to community initiatives was evident from the first time we met with their team," said Julian Clanton, the Battery's chief revenue officer. "They get involved as often as possible and are a pleasure to work with. I would recommend Color World Painting's services to anyone and the Battery stand behind the quality of their work."

"We are extremely excited about our partnership with the Charleston Battery," said Lawson Owen, Jr., managing partner of Color World Painting. "We are looking forward to working side by side with the club to continue enriching the lives of the people of Charleston and the surrounding tri-county through sport and home service."

Along with sponsoring the training kits, fans will see several initiatives and collaborations between the Battery and Color World, with an emphasis on community involvement.

Among these initiatives include the Kicks for Kids program, where Color World will sponsor match tickets to donate to charitable organizations in the Charleston area, the Youth Club of the Match, where one local youth team is honored each home game, and the Night Practice Series, where youth teams and their parents are invited to watch training and meet the team.

Color World will also sponsor the shirts of the ball kids and the Dream Team (the sets of kids who walk with the teams onto the field before kickoff), and sponsor the Summer Reading Program in tandem with the Battery and Charleston County Public Library.

Additionally, Color World will offer a promotion of two tickets to a Battery match for new customers of their services in celebration of the new partnership.
