
CFL Hall of Fame legend Browne joins APEX guest list

HAMILTON, ONTARIO - Can-American APEX Football camps is proud to announce it has added a third CFL Hall of Fame member, Less Browne, to its guest list for the Saturday, July 24 combine at Ivor Wynne Stadium.

Browne played for Grey Cup championship teams with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats (1986), Winnipeg Blue Bombers (1990) and B.C. Lions (1994).
His long career with Hamilton, Winnipeg, Ottawa and B.C. produced All-Canadian Defensive Back honors six times.
He was All-Eastern and All-Western Defensive Back three times each, and was a nominee for the Schenley Most Outstanding Defensive Player in 1986 and 1994.
Browne played college ball for the University of Colorado, and signed as a free agent with Hamilton in 1984. By the time he retired, he held the CFL record for most interceptions all-time (87) and most interception return yards (1,507).
He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2002.
Browne joins fellow Hall of Fame inductees John Bonk and Tony Gabriel at the APEX Combine on Saturday, where the they will talk to and work with camp participants.
