Time: 2:32 ATT: 3,860 W: Mike Smith (10-6) L: Marc Acierno (2-6) S: None HR: CB - Mike Guerrero (9), David Keesee (1) Mike Smith twirled his fourth complete game of the season, scattering eight hits and striking out six, as Fort Worth overcame an early deficit to down Coastal Bend 5-2. The Aviators got two in the first, including one on a solo home run from RF Mike Guerrero, but were shut down by Smith the rest of the way. The Cats came back with one in the third, two in the fifth and single insurance runs in the seventh and eighth to put the game out of reach. Fort Worth 3B Terence Green and 1B Jordan Foster had two hits apiece, as did SS David Keesee, one of which was his first home run of the season. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- SHREVEPORT @ SAN ANGELO, postponed, rain @ San Angelo, Texas. The Sports-Colts contest was rained out.
