DURHAM, N.C. - Winnipeg manager Hal Lanier announced today his Northern League Central All-Star team that will play the East on Aug. 6 at 7:30 p.m. ET in Le Stade Municipal in Quebec City, Quebec.
The nine position starters were chosen with votes coming from one manager and one media representative in each Central city.
Lanier, who managed the Winnipeg Goldeyes to the 2001 Central Division title before they lost to the New Jersey Jackals in the Northern League Championship, was the man responsible for picking two substitutes and the pitching staff.
Each team is required to have at least one selection.
New Jersey manager George Tsamis will release his East Division team Monday. Here is Lanier's list of Central Division All-Stars:
