Cedar Rapids RoughRiders Best the Dubuque Fighting Saints at the Stable

The Cedar Rapids RoughRiders claimed victory over the Dubuque Fighting Saints on Friday at the Stable by a score of 6-5. The high-scoring game saw goals from five different RoughRiders. Jackson Jutting scored two, and Nate Hanley scored the game-winner. Grant Silianoff, Ryan Taylor, and Ben Meehan added the other three RoughRiders goals of the night.

Cedar Rapids struck first 12:29 into the game with Meehan's goal assisted by Taylor and Jutting before Dubuque scored a tying goal five minutes later on the powerplay. Each team scored two in the second before an exciting third period featured three RoughRiders goals and two from the Fighting Saints. The RoughRiders' commanding offense outshot the Fighting Saints 45-27 in the win.

The RoughRiders are on the road for a New Years Eve game in Fargo on Tuesday, but are back at The Stable this weekend, January 3 and 4. They'll face off against the Muskegon Lumberjacks on both Friday and Saturday. January 3 will have a St. Louis Blues ticket giveaway with a free Marriott Stay, and January 4 is Mascot Night!
