Jersey Express News Release
Madison, NJ - The County College of Morris, located at 214 Center Grove Road, Randolph, NJ will be the "Official Practice Facility" of the Jersey Express. CCM, has a rich basketball tradition in Morris County, as former hosts to the now defunct EBA Morris County Revolution Professional Basketball Team. Training camp will open on Monday, October 15th at 8pm. Players who were invited to camp from our previous try-outs, returning veterans, and players newly signed will be vying for their opportunity. Camp will run for three weeks, leading up to opening night on Saturday, November 10th. "We're looking to fill four additional active spots, and we'll select several players for the practice squad, with an opportunity to make the active list. Overall there will be 25 players attending veterans camp, with 10 to 12 players suiting up for opening night, and 3 to 4 on the in-active list. Training camp is probably one of the most exciting times of the year, because these players are playing as hard as they can, and laying it all on the line for a chance to be one of the chosen 10; noted GM Jacqui Halyard.
Note: OurSports Central no longer actively covers the American Basketball Association (ABA) as a professional league due in part to its inability to publish and play a schedule and the transitory nature of many of its teams.
