Cats Add A Pair On Offence

Hamilton, Ontario - The Hamilton Tiger-Cats announced today that import wide receiver Rashaun Woods and import running back Antoine Bagwell have been added to the team's development roster.

Woods, a 6-2, 202-pound native of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma is a former first round (31st overall) selection of the NFL's San Francisco 49ers. Woods recorded seven receptions for 160 yards and a touchdown in seven games during his rookie season in 2005.

Prior to turning pro, Woods spent five stellar seasons at Oklahoma State University (1999-2003) where he finished his career with a Big-12 record 293 catches for 4,414 yards and 42 touchdowns.

Bagwell, a 5-11, 192-pound native of Lansing, Michigan rushed for 3,353 yards and 45 touchdowns in two seasons as a member of the California University Falcons. The two-time PSAC Player of the Year attended training camp with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2005, the St. Louis Rams in 2006 and the Winnipeg Blue Bombers earlier this year.

The Ticats also announced that the team has released import receiver Darnerien McCants and non-import linebacker Steve Faoro.
