The Sounders battle the Salinas Valley Samba at the Starfire Sports Complex on Wednesday, June 29. Kick off is set for 7:30 PM. Tickets are just $12.00 and can be purchased at Starfire on the evening of the match. A win on June 29th means the Sounders advance to face the Portland Timbers in 3rd Round U.S. Open Cup action.
SOUNDERS JULY 8TH MATCH MOVED TO STARFIRE
The Sounders July 8th match against the Portland Timbers will also take place at the Starfire Sports Complex. Season tickets, flex packages, youth passes and parking passes will be honored at Starfire. In addition to bleacher seating, a limited number of hill side lawn seats will be available for $10. Lawn seats can only be purchased by calling the Sounders office at 206 622.3415 - or tickets can be purchased on the night of the match. Parking will cost $8 at Starfire. Due to limited seating / parking, fans are encouraged to arrive early for the 8:00 pm, Fox Soccer Channel broadcast game.
DON'T LOOK NOW, BUT THE SOUNDERS ARE ON A ROLL, FACE VANCOUVER TWICE THIS WEEKEND
The Sounders defeated the Rochester Raging Rhinos 1-0 on Tuesday night. With the win, the Sounders improved their record to 5-1-2 - they have not lost since April 30. The next home match at Qwest Field is June 25th against the Vancouver Whitecaps with kick off set for 7:00 pm (Comcast will be on hand shooting the game - it will be available on VIDEO ON DEMAND 48 hours after the match.) On Sunday, June 26th, the Sounders travel to Vancouver for the back end of the home and home series. Listen to Thom Beuning call all the action beginning at 6:40 pm on KKNW - 1150 AM.
