
Cash for kids and Shock team up

WHAT: Detroit Shock all star forward, Swin Cash, will host a Sunday afternoon festival at the Hoop City Grille to raise funds for area youth. Shockfest, presented by Detroit Metro Area Ford Dealers and the Detroit Shock, will be set up outside of the Grille to provide plenty of fun and festivities for kids of all ages. Admission to the event is free. There will be a silent auction with items from the WNBA, the NBA and the Detroit Tigers.

Cash for Kids was established in 2005 by Swin Cash in an effort to provide youth the resources to "get in the game". The charity was launched in April of this year.
