
Cardwell Signs with University of Alaska-Fairbanks

Wichita Falls Wildcats forward and Captain, Adam Cardwell, recently signed to go play Division I Hockey at the University of Alaska-Fairbanks. Cardwell is in his third year with the Wildcats and has been an asset to the team since coming to Wichita Falls from his hometown of Long Beach, CA. This season, Coach John Bowkus, says "Cardwell continues to get it done it for us offensively." The Wildcats recently played five games in seven days, and in those five games, Cardwell racked up five goals and nine assists. He leads the league in scoring with sixty-six points. Cardwell says, "I am looking forward to playing college hockey in the CCHA". He will start his hockey career with the Nanooks in the 2008-09 season.
