Captains to offer great football packages

SHREVEPORT, La. - The Shreveport-Bossier Captains are pleased to announce a partnership with Sports Fantasy Tours to bring fans a unique gridiron experience this fall. The tours feature two of the most popular teams among area residents - the LSU Tigers and the Dallas Cowboys.

First up is the first "Monday Night Football" game in the history of the new Cowboys Stadium, as the 'Boys take on the Carolina Panthers on national TV at 7:30 p.m. on September 28.

The final two games of the series feature the Bayou Bengals, with a big SEC West battle in Baton Rouge against Auburn on October 24 and a road test in Oxford, Miss., against the Ole Miss Rebels on November 21.

"We want to make sure that the Captains are a year-round entity," team VP/General Manager Craig Brasfield said. "The Cowboys and LSU are perfect destinations for our fans, and this is just the first step of keeping the great Captains fans entertained throughout the pro baseball offseason."

Coach bus transportation will be provided from Fair Grounds Field for all three games, with refreshments and on-site staffing and coordination provided. The cost for the tours ranges from $295 to $345 per person, depending on the chosen game.
