Lake County Captains News Release

(Eastlake, OH) - The Lake County Captains, the Class-A affiliate of the Cleveland Indians, have added to their promotional schedule by announcing that the team will have Roberto Perez bobblehead giveaway and a special appearance by Indians great Kenny Lofton.

On Saturday, July 6, the Captains will welcome former Indian great Kenny Lofton to Classic Park. Lofton played 17 seasons in the big leagues, was a six-time All-Star and a four-time Gold Glove winner. He had three different stints with the Indians.

VIP meet-and-greet packages will be available which will include a game ticket, autographed photo, food and a chance to meet Kenny and take a photo with him.

Following the VIP session, Kenny will greet fans on the main concourse. To accommodate as many fans as possible, the public portion of Kenny's appearance will be a photo session, not an autograph session.

Season tickets holders will have a special pre-sale opportunity to purchase the meet-and-greet tickets beginning at 9:00am Monday, March 18 until 5:00pm Friday, March 22 either on the web site or in person at Classic Park.

The general public will be able to acquire remaining tickets beginning Monday, March 25 at 9:00am.

The Perez bobblehead giveaway will be Friday, August 2. The first 1,500 fans through the gates will receive the bobblehead, presented by Lake Health. Perez was part of the Captains lone Championship season back in 2010 and is expected to be the Indians starting backstop for the upcoming season.

The Captains open the 2019 season on April 4 at Classic Park against the Great Lakes Loons (Dodgers). Affordable ticket packages and group outings are available for purchase now and more information may be found at www.CaptainsBaseball.com or by calling 440-954-WINS (9467).
