
Capitols help raise money for March of Dimes

Lincoln, NE--The Lincoln Capitols, members of the NIFL, will be taking part in a March of Dimes jail and bail fundraiser. The Capitols will be serving jail time to help raise money to save babies. The money that is raised from this event will be used to improve the lives of Nebraska's babies by preventing birth defects and infant mortality. This is the mission of the March of Dimes and it is your mission, too. The Lincoln Capitols are proud to be taking part in this March of Dimes fundraiser. The Capitols' bail for March of Dimes is set at $1,000. The Capitols will be calling people to ask for their help to raise the bail we need to be free again. If you want to donate to this cause you can call the Capitols office at 477-8888. We are a football team willing to help our community.
An upcoming Capitols event is on September 11. The Capitols will be playing in a celebrity softball game. Events start at 4: p.m. with kids' contests followed by a pork barbeque with the game at 7: that evening. The proceeds from all activities will benefit the new Deweese Fire Hall. So come out and join in the fun and food September 11 in Fairfield.
