
Capitols Announce Signed Players for 2003 Season

Lincoln Capitols News Release
The Lincoln Capitols Indoor Football team has announced the signings of Michael Dixon, John Hall, Marshall Dos-Reis, and Mike Parks for the 2003 season. Dixon, a wide receiver, will be in his 1st season with the Capitols. Prior to joining the Capitols, Dixon was a member of the Lincoln Renegades. Dixon, a native of Stockton, California, played college football at Butte Community College in Chico, CA and Greenville College in Greenville, IL. Dixon is currently a Campus Supervisor at Lincoln Northeast High School where he also serves as reserve football, reserve basketball, and freshmen track coach.
John Hall, a 6-foot 235 lb running-back, is also in his first season with the Capitols. The Cleveland, OH native played college football at Arizona Western in Yuma and University of Toledo in Toledo, OH.
Marshall Dos-Reis of Euclid, OH, attended Evangel University in Springfield, MO. The 6-foot 225 lb tailback rushed for over 1500 yards and had 23 touchdowns in his senior season. This is Dos-Reis' first season with the Capitols.
Mike Parks, an Omaha, NE, native, begins his first season with the Capitols. Previously, Parks played for the Nebraska Trailblazers, Iowa Packers, and Nebraska B.E.A.R.S football teams after attending University of Nebraska-Omaha. In 2002, Parks led all NAFL kickers in scoring with 63 total points. Parks is currently a development analyst with Memberworks, Inc.
The Lincoln Capitols will begin the season March 21st on the road in St. Louis, MO, with the home opener at Pershing Center scheduled for March 27th against Sioux Falls, SD.
