
Canucks Recall Lawrence Nycholat

The Vancouver Canucks, the NHL affiliate of the Manitoba Moose, today announced they have recalled defenceman Lawrence Nycholat from the Moose.
Nycholat, 29, has played in 37 games with the Moose this season. In that span, the Calgary, AB native has collected 22 points (5g & 17a) along with 49 penalty minutes. He has also played in four games so far this season in the club's 2010 Calder Cup Playoff run where he earned one assist and four penalty minutes.
The veteran defenceman has played in 523 career AHL games for 298 career points (60g & 238a) and 775 penalty minutes. He has also played in a total of 50 NHL games between the New York Rangers, Washington, Ottawa, Colorado and Vancouver. In that time he racked up nine points (2g & 7a) along with 24 penalty minutes.
