
Canton Elite Baton and Drum Corps to Perform at Halftime

Canton Legends News Release
Canton, Ohio â The Canton Elite Baton and Drum Corps will be performing a halftime show at The Canton Legends game on Saturday, May 21, 2005 against the Raleigh Rebels. The corps is a competition marching unit and twirling team that has won numerous awards. They march and compete in 20 parades a year throughout Ohio and have performed in the 2003 AXA Liberty Bowl halftime show and Beale Street Parade in Memphis, TN. They have been awarded the Community Choice Award at the Pro Football Hall of Fame Community Parade. Students also compete as soloist in various competitions.
The corps is directed by Karla Neff who is the majorette advisor for Canton South High School and East Canton High School. The flag line advisor is Hollie Gerstenmier who is also the flag line advisor for Perry High School. Our color guard advisor and technical director is Bill Quinlan who is a retired All American Parade judge.
