
Cane Cutters Fall to Generals, 10-3; Split Series

Following a dominant performance by the Cane Cutters on Monday, the team fell to the Victoria Generals 10-3 in Victoria in game two on Tuesday.
Acadiana scored a run in the first inning, and then fell off until the eighth. In the eighth, the Cane Cutters scored two runs, but it wasn't nearly enough.
Between the runs scored in the first and the eighth by Acadiana, three Cane Cutter's pitchers combined to allow 10 Victoria General runs.
The Cane Cutters will have two days off before traveling to face the Texas Marshalson Friday at 7 p.m.
The team's next home game is Sunday against the Bombers. Sunday's game will be the Dog Days of Summer. Fans can purchase a $3 pooch pass to bring their dog to the game. All proceeds will be given to local animal shelters.
