Buffalo Bisons News Release
The Buffalo Bisons, Triple-A affiliate of the New York Mets, today announced that C Robinson Cancel and LHP Pat Misch have rejoined the team following their big league promotions.
Misch had his contract selected by New York on June 22 and was effective out of the bullpen for the Mets. In 13 appearances, the southpaw posted a 2.51ERA with no record. He allowed 16 hits in 14.1 innings of work, walking nine and striking out nine. Misch pitched two games for Buffalo this year (0-1, 6.14) after the Mets claimed him off of waives (San Francisco) on June 9.
Cancel had just one at-bat with New York (0-1) after being promoted last Friday. With the Bisons, the catcher has hit .218 (42-193) with six doubles, a triple, nine RBI and six stolen bases.
