The Quebec Capitales got a solid outing from starting pitcher Eric Gagne and took care of New Hampshire 10-4 at home. Gagne allowed two runs, one earned, on 10 hits in six innings to pick up his first win of the season. Leading the way at the plate for Quebec was DH Douglas Toro, who was 3-for-3 with a double, a run scored and two RBI. Capitales 3B Patrick Deschenes also had three hits, finishing 3-for-5 with a double, a run scored and a RBI. Quebec C Pierre-Luc LaForest was 1-for-4 with a solo home run, his 10th of the season.

New Jersey 8, Sussex 7 (10 innings)

Sussex 3B Jeremy Hunt belted three home runs in the game, but it was not enough for the Skyhawks as the Jackals prevailed 8-7 in 10 innings. Hunt was the star of the game, going 3-for-4 with four RBI, but New Jersey collected 15 hits as a team to upend Sussex. Trailing 7-4 entering the top of the eighth inning, the Skyhawks rallied for three runs to tie the score at 7-7. Then, in the bottom of the 10th, SS Mike DeJesus singled home 2B Marcus Sanders to give the Jackals a walk-off win. Sanders finished the contest 4-for-6 with two runs scored and a RBI.
