
Can-Am League Terminates Membership of Worcester

DURHAM, NC- Can-Am League commissioner Miles Wolff announced on Friday that the membership of the Worcester Tornadoes held by Streamlined Sports, Inc., has been terminated. The team will complete its regular-season schedule September 1-3 at Newark.
"We have taken this action because the league wants strong, financially viable ownership in the Worcester market," Wolff said. "We will begin immediately looking for ownership for a team in Worcester that will be a positive influence in the community for many years to come."
Worcester has been a Member of the Can-Am League since 2005.
