Sussex 6, Worcester 4
Sussex snapped a ten-game losing streak by beating Worcester 6-4. With the score tied at four apiece, 1B Caleb Stewart gave Sussex the lead for good with a two-run eighth inning home run, his 15th on the year. Sussex got on the board first with a three-run second behind a single from 2B Rene Ruiz and an RBI fielder's choice off the bat of LF Kraig Binick. Worcester then brought a 4-1 game to a tie in the 6th behind back-to-back homers from 3B Lester Contreras and DH Stantrel Smith. RHP Matt Salvato got the win in relief for a hitless seventh, and closer Duaner Sanchez struck out two in the ninth for his 17th save to rebound from a rough outing the night before.
