Worcester 3, Quebec 2 (Game 1 - 7 Innings)
1B Chris Colabello's solo home run in the sixth inning broke a 2-2 tie and lifted the Worcester Tornadoes past the Quebec Capitales, 3-2 in game one of the doubleheader. Worcester reliever Albert Ayala notched his second win of the season as he tossed two scoreless innings allowing only a walk. For Quebec in defeat, SS Josh Colafemina and DH Jeremy Hunt each had two-hit games, accounting for four of their five hits.
Worcester 3, Quebec 1 (Game 2 - 7 Innings)
The Worcester Tornadoes completed the doubleheader sweep as the Tornadoes beat the Quebec Capitales 3-1 in game two. 1B Nick Salotti led the Tornadoes offense going 1-for-2 and scoring two runs. The Worcester pitching was excellent as the trio of John Kelly, Shawn Gilblair and Eric Asadoorian combined to allow only a run on two hits with seven strikeouts.
Sussex at New Jersey (Cancelled - Rain)
The game scheduled between Sussex and New Jersey was cancelled due to rain. Since the two teams do not meet again in the first half, the game will not be made up.
