North Shore continues to display outstanding pitching in a rout of the Capitales. Spirit starting pitcher Joey Siak went six innings allowing no runs on five hits with five strikeouts. He improved his record to 7-7 on the season. LF Robert Fischer and 2B Ricardo Cordova had superb nights at the plate for the Spirit each going 2-for-4 with two runs scored and a run driven in. Cordova also hit his fifth home run of the season. The win by the Spirit is their 10th in a row and helps them increase their lead in the Can-Am League to 4.5 games over Quebec.
