Rockland 7, Trois-Rivieres 6
Third baseman Cody Regis singled home SS JC Rodriguez with the game winning run in the bottom of the ninth inning as Rockland defeated Trois-Rivieres in a walk-off, 7-6. The Boulders trailed 6-2 after 5 ½ innings but scored three in the sixth, one in the eighth and one in the ninth to rally from behind and win the game.
Rockland pounded out 16 hits in the contest with seven batters having multi-hit games. Regis and Rodriguez each had two hits, two runs scored and an RBI while LF Kevin Krause had three hits in five at-bats and drove in a run.
Boulders pitcher Nick Kennedy tossed two shutout innings to notch the victory. Kennedy gave up a pair of hits while striking out three in a 29-pitch outing. The southpaw is now 1-1 on the year.
For the Aigles in the losing effort, DH David Glaude went 3-for-4 with a home run and two RBI.
Quebec at Ottawa (Postponed - Rain)
The game between Quebec and Ottawa was postponed due to rain. It will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Wednesday, June 6 beginning at 5:05 PM. Both contests will be seven innings.
