Trois-Rivieres 6, New Jersey 0 (Game 1 - 7 Innings)

The Trois-Rivieres Aigles shut out the New Jersey Jackals in their first game of a scheduled doubleheader with the New Jersey Jackals 6-0. The Aigles struck for three runs in the first inning and that would be plenty for the rest of the game, as Francois LaFreniere threw the entire seven-inning game. He held the Jackals to just two hits and two walks throughout and struck out five. 1B Carlos Guzman had a great night for the Jackals offensively, going 2-4 with three RBIs and a run in addition to hitting his third home run of the season.
