Quebec 1, New Jersey 0 (Quebec leads series, 3-1)
First baseman Ivan Naccarata singled home DH Rene Leveret with the game's only run in the eighth inning as the Capitales beat the New Jersey Jackals, 1-0. The victory by Quebec gives them a 3-1 series lead and puts them one win away from capturing their fourth consecutive Can-Am League title. Naccarata, C Josue Peley and RF Steve Brown each had two hits to lead the Capitales offense. Quebec reliever Dustin Crenshaw notched the victory as he tossed 1 2/3 innings of scoreless relief allowing a hit while fanning one batter. For New Jersey in defeat, LF Bryan Sabatella and SS Matt Nandin had two hits apiece.
