Quebec 3, New Jersey 0 (Series tied, 1-1)
The Quebec Capitales got a sensational pitching performance from starter Karl Gelinas and beat the New Jersey Jackals by the score of 3-0 in game two of the championship series. Gelinas tossed seven strong innings giving up only one hit and one walk while striking out six New Jersey batters. The resident of Quebec, QC notched the win while closer TJ Stanton tossed 1 1/3 innings of scoreless relief to collect the save. Offensively for the Capitales, DH Rene Leveret went 2-for-4 with a double, a run scored and two RBI and RF Steve Brown had two hits and a run batted in. With the series tied at one game apiece, the scene shifts to New Jersey for game three tomorrow night.
