Calgary, Alberta -- Ted Dowling scored five goals as the Calgary Roughnecks defeated the Arizona Sting, 15-6, at the Pengrowth Saddledome Saturday night in a National Lacrosse League game.

The Roughnecks shut out the Arizona offense for two of the four quarters. Calgary improves to 3-2, only one half game behind the first place Colorado Mammoth (4-2) in the Western Division of the NLL. Arizona falls to 3-3.

Gewas Schindler led the Sting with four goals.

"We had nothing in the tank," said Sting head coach Bob Hamley, after the Arizona team made a spectacular come-from-behind win Friday against San Jose, 16-13.

"We couldn't do anything right," said Hamley of the team's second two games in two nights schedule this season.

Then Sting next travel to Philadelphia for a game Feb. 14 and are at home in Glendale Arena to the Anaheim Storm on Saturday Feb. 21.
