St. Louis Bandits News Release

Just off the 2008 Robertson Cup championship, goaltender Cal Heeter committed to Ohio State University for the fall of 2008. The St. Louis native joined the Bandits this season after being acquired in a trade from the Wichita Falls Wildcats. Heeter finished the regular season with a .917 save percentage and was named to the NAHL All-tournament team during the Robertson Cup National Tournament.

"Cal was one of the horses that pulled the cart for the Bandits this season," says GM/Head Coach Jon Cooper. "Mr. Friday night will be a tremendous addition to Ohio State University. They are receiving a very talented player both on and off the ice."

Cal is the 10th Bandit to commit to a D-I College this season.
