Busy Weekend in the USBL

MILFORD, CT – The United States Basketball League, Inc. (USBL) has a full slate of games (10) this weekend. This stretch of games could prove to be beneficial to the teams as some try to lengthen divisional leads, while others look to rebound from disappointing starts.

Tonight, April 25th, the Texas Rim Rockers visit the Westchester Wildfire. The Wildfire have had a week off to prepare for the Rim Rockers, after their 110-100 Opening Night win against Pennsylvania. The Rim Rockers are in the midst of their Eastern Division swing. They will be looking to turn the tide against the Wildfire and capture their first victory in team history. Kansas ventures to Oklahoma to take on the Storm in their home opener. This is a rematch of last year's Post Season Festival Championship Game, which was won by the Storm. Both teams have made roster changes and are hoping that these moves prove to be beneficial. In the final game of the night, the ValleyDawgs travel north to take on the rival Wildcats of Adirondack. The ValleyDawgs will be looking to bounce back from last Saturday's loss to the Wildfire and Adirondack will be looking to right the ship after last night's loss to Brooklyn.

Saturday will have a full slate of games. Texas continues their Eastern Division swing as they travel to face the Wildcats of Adirondack. Pennsylvania returns to Westchester looking to exact some revenge for last week's loss to the Wildfire. Kansas travels to instate rival Dodge City for the first time this season, looking to rebound from last weeks loss to the Legend. In the final game of the night, the red hot Brooklyn Kings travel south to Florida to take on the Brevard Blue Ducks. The Blue Ducks will try to knock off the Kings who are on a two game winning streak.

Sunday winds up a busy weekend with three games. First the Rim Rockers finish up the weekend with their third game in as many days when the face the ValleyDawgs in their home opener. Oklahoma travels to Dodge City a night after hanging the 2003 USBL Championship Banner in the Mark Price Arena. The Legend has put the fear into their Midwest rivals and is looking to go 4-0 on the season with another sweep of weekend games. The Kings will be playing the Blue Ducks of Brevard for the second consecutive night in Melbourne.
