Burn Announces 2003 Schedule

Baltimore Burn News Release


Glen Burnie, MD - The Baltimore Burn of the National Women's Football Association (NWFA), announced their 2003 season schedule today.

The Burn will open up with two road games. On April 12th, 2003, the Burn will travel to face the expansion Pittsburgh Passion and then, on April 19th, head to DC to face the archrival Divas. The first home game for the Burn will be on April 26th when they take on the Columbus Flames. After a bye week, the Erie Illusion makes their first trip to Baltimore on May 10th to face the defending Mid-Atlantic Champions. May 17th will have the Burn traveling to Columbus to face the Flames. The black and gold of the Passion will then journey to Charm City on May 24th to play the Burn. After the second bye of the season, Baltimore will wrap up the regular season with a road game at Erie on June 7th and the final showdown with the DC Divas at home on June 14th. The first round of the NWFA Playoffs will begin on June 28th, 2003.
