Billings Bulls News Release

The NAHL Western Division Offensive Player of the Week is Kent Bostrom. The Vadnais Heights, MN native notched two goals and two assists this past weekend. Both goals coming on the power play, giving him thirteen power play goals on the year. Bostrom is ranked second in the NAHL in power play goals and ranked third in scoring for the Bulls with 27 goals and 22 assists.

Head Coach Mike Aikens says Bostrom is one of his hardest working players in the league. "Bostrom battles hard every shift and is a player that colleges are going to love having on their team," said Aikens, "He is a skilled player that also is very good in the defensive zone. Some coaches might look at his 13 power-play goals and think he is only a special teams player. But once they see what kind of player he is, they will realize that he can play in any situation."

The Bulls open the Western Division Semi-finals this coming Thursday against Helena. Game time at 7:05 p.m. The Bulls have not seen Helena in over a month and have a record of 7-0-1 against them this season.
