BRANTFORD, ONTARIO. Brantford Bulldogs President of Hockey Operations & General Manager Spencer Hyman today announced the acquisition of BAR 5th '30 & a conditional BAR 14th '29 in exchange for forward Luca Testa.

Testa, the product of Grimsby, ON, was originally selected in the 1st round, 15th overall, in the 2022 OHL Priority Selection Draft by the London Knights off a tremendous performace leading the St. Catharines Falcons to a Sutherland Cup as an underage player. Testa was acquired by the Bulldogs on January 2nd, 2023 and went on to play 152 games over three and a half seasons with the Bulldogs scoring 36 goals & adding 31 assists for 67 points in that time. Testa played in all three playoff seasons in Brantford, playing a larger role in the 2026 run to the Conference Finals posting 4 goals & 1 assist over 15 games. An electric personality, the 6'1" / 190 left-shot centerman was a continued presence in the community from his first day with the Bulldogs and continues to standout for his character through his entire OHL career.

"We want to thank Luca for everything he has given to the Bulldogs organization." said Hyman. "He has been a great teammate, a great person and someone who represented our organization with pride. We're grateful for his commitment and all the memories he helped create during his time here. We wish Luca and his family nothing but success in this next chapter. Once a Bulldog, always a Bulldog.".
