The Buffalo Stampede defeated the Maryland Greenhawks 124-114 tonight in Rockville, Maryland. The Stampede were lead by Derick Payne with 25 points and 6 rebounds. Other players in double figures were Andy Robinson with 24 points, Cameron Stanley with 21, Mark Price with 19, and Mike Norwood with 12. Mark Price also had a game high 9 assists. The Stampede shot over 60 percent from 3-point range, going 11 for 19. Buffalo collected its first win of the season, improving to 1-3, and dropping Maryland to 1-4. The Stampede will play their next two games on the road against Rochester and Puerto Rico, returning home Saturday, January 30th against Manchester.
