Buffalo Fans Can Party in the Plaza This Saturday

BUFFALO, NY (April 27, 2009) --- The Buffalo Bandits are inviting fans to come down early to HSBC Arena this Saturday prior to the NLL East Division Semifinal playoff game against the Boston Blazers to share in the excitement of the playoffs at the pre-game Plaza Party. Game time is 7:30 p.m.

The party will run from 5-7 p.m. outside HSBC Arena in the Plaza area located near Perry and Illinois Street. Fans can enjoy live music from The Strictly Hip, along with food and drink available for purchase. There will also be special appearances from the Bandettes and Rax. The party will take place rain or shine with free admission, as a game ticket will not be required for entrance to the party.

The Bandits will also be holding a silent auction of autographed game worn third jerseys used during the 2009 season. Bidding will be open to fans beginning at 6 p.m. in the East Wing of the Pavilion and run until the start of the third quarter. Those bidding will be required to provide their phone number and seat location so the winner can be notified. Winners will be notified during the fourth quarter and will be able to claim and pay for their jersey in Account Services. The Bandits recommend that winners pay for and pick up their jersey before the end of the game.
