Bucs Acquire Greeder in Trade with Fargo

WEST DES MOINES, Iowa - The Des Moines Buccaneers have completed a trade with the Fargo Force, acquiring defenseman Graham Greeder and affiliate forward McCoy Kurtz.

Greeder is a 2006-born defenseman who spent the 2025-26 season with the Force, putting up 14P (5G, 9A) in 58GP last season. The Columbus, Minn., native played three years of high school hockey with Hill-Murray School before making his USHL debut with Fargo and is committed to Minnesota State, Mankato. "We're excited to add Greeder to our group," said Derek Damon, Head Coach and President of Hockey Operations. "He's an offensive-minded defenseman who can move the puck, create offense and give us another option to run our power play. With a year of experience in the league already, he brings a dynamic element to our blue line that we're excited to add to our team."
The Buccaneers wish Kortan the best as he continues his USHL career in Fargo.
