Dakota Bucks News Release

The Bismarck Bucks are going to Kansas City ... Kansas City, here they come.

The Bucks (4-2) meet the struggling Kansas City Phantoms (1-5) on Saturday at 7 p.m. The game will be shown live on the BEK Broadcasting Network.

Bismarck opened the season with a 67-30 win over the Phantoms at the Bismarck Event Center. It recently concluded a three-game homestand with a thrilling 47-36 win over Salina under new head coach Paco Martinez.

True to their name, the Phantoms are an aerial team. Quarterback Donovan Portiere has thrown for 24 touchdowns and 190 yards per game. He was injured early and missed most of the Bucks' season-opening win. Kansas City averages just 4.7 yards PER GAME rushing.

The Bismarck Bucks play in the Champions Indoor Football League, the largest indoor football league in the nation with teams from the Dakotas to Texas. The Bucks earned CIF Franchise of the Year in 2017. They play six home games each spring at the Bismarck Event Center. Bucks management is dedicated to providing fun, family entertainment at affordable prices to the Bismarck-Mandan Community.
