Bucks To Host Pre-Season Game: Buy One Ticket, Get One Free

LAREDO, TX- The Laredo Bucks of the Central Hockey League announced today that they have added a home pre-season game to their schedule against division foe Corpus Christi at the LEC on Wednesday October 10th. The puck will drop at 7pm.

All ticket price levels for the game will be buy one ticket, get one free at walk-up prices. Tickets will go on sale to the public Saturday September 22nd at 10am, with prices ranging from $12.75 to $36.75.

The Bucks will now play three preseason games in three days, starting with the home game against the Rayz, then the two games with Austin on the road October 11th and 12th.

"We have a lot of major decisions to make this year with a lot of young kids coming down here and trying to compete for probably four spots on the team", said Bucks head coach/GM Terry Ruskowski. "In years past when we've had two pre-season games I've been undecided about some guys, but now with playing three pre-season games the players can't hide their flaws. Three games will show us who can make it here on our team".

The game against Corpus Christi will be the Bucks fourth ever home pre-season game, and the first since 2005. The Bucks are 2-1 at home all-time in pre-season games going 1-1 against Rio Grande Valley, and 1-0 against the Mexican National Team. The Bucks and Rayz will tangle 12 times during the 2007-08 regular season starting with the Bucks home opener October 26th.

The Bucks, who are preparing for their sixth CHL season, open training camp on October 8th. Laredo will open the regular season on a three-game road trip, starting October 19th in New Mexico. The home opener is October 26th against division rival Corpus Christi.
