
Bucks to host 2005 Summer Roller Hockey Camp

LAREDO, Texas - The 2005 Southern Conference Champion Laredo Bucks announced today that there will be a roller hockey camp at the Laredo Entertainment Center August 1st-4th. The camp will be run by Bucks players and will feature professional instruction in a safe environment. The camp will benefit all levels of play. It will feature instruction for beginners, intermediate and advanced players.
"For us this is a chance to give back to the community," said Bucks defenseman Serge Dube. "We are having the camp to help promote the game and to give people a chance to learn more about the game."
Dube, Brent Cullaton, Jeff Bes and Steve Weidlich will be the featured instructors at the camp.
The camp will teach proper skating, stick handling, passing and shooting skills. The camp is open to boys and girls age 8-18. Cost is $100 for the camp with each child receiving a special roller hockey jersey. Space is limited to 40 skaters per session. There will be one session per day, per age group.

8:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. Ages 8-10
10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Ages 11-13
1:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. Ages 14-18
