Bucks Heading For Salina, Kansas

The Bismarck Bucks go to Salina, Kansas, for the first of two straight road games in the Champions Indoor Football League on Saturday. Kickoff is at 7:05 p.m. at the Tony's Pizza Event Center. The Bucks (1-0) are coming off a 67-30 thumping of Kansas City in their season opener. The Liberty (1-1) beat Wichita 17-15 in their season opener and lost to Omaha 42-37 last weekend. The Bucks share the Northern Conference lead with Omaha, while Salina and Kansas City bring up the rear.
The Bucks leave town Friday morning. They will practice at the Golf Dome Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9 a.m. to noon.
Saturday's game will be televised on the BEK Broadcasting Network.
